MAJOR PROJECTS SANCTIONED BY UGC Environmental education and waste management in rural community for the eradication of epidemics Principal Investigator: Dr. K.S.Anitha, Principal, Sree Narayana Training College, Nedunganda Co-Investigator: Dr. Sindhya. V, Lecturer in Education Period : 3 years The project aims to function in three thrust areas i.e. analysis of awareness of sustainable environment, ways and means of waste management and prevention of epidemics in the nearby coastal area of Anchuthengu Panchayath so as to make them self sufficient by all means at the least expensive way. The project is a collaborative effort of Sree Narayana Training College, Nedunganda and rural panchayath of Anchuthengu. The keystone of the project is the Community Entrepreneurs (CE) who are placed in programme villages of the clusters including kudumbasree workers and students of Sree Narayana Training College, Nedunganda. The Community Entrepreneurs are selected from the rural panchayath of Anchuthengu, who are equipped with knowledge and skills required to implement and facilitate the entire process MINOR PROJECTS SANCTIONED BY UGC A minor project is being sanctioned to D r K.K. VENU Reader in Physical Education, by UGC New Delhi on the topic 'Management of Physical Education Climate in Colleges of Kerala'. This area of study will be an important information to the field of physical education .The work is completed and project report will be submitted soon. |
