Guru means "The one who removes darkness"Darkness symbolizes the inability to see the reality. The state of mind, entangled in delusions and tendencies. Guru is that inner light which dispels all these clouding from the mind. Thus the self itself shines forth, and radiate joy, peace and love which are its true nature.

SREE NARAYANA TRAINING COLLEGE, Nedunganda,
founded in the name of His Holiness Swami Sree Narayana Guru by the Sree Narayana Trusts, came into existence in 1958. This is the only aided teacher education college founded under the auspicious Sree Narayana Trust. The college is affiliated to the University of Kerala
